Organisations We Support

Bridgeworks sponsors and works in partnership with a number of organisations that have strong values aligned to Bridgeworks values.

Outward Bound Australia

Outwards Bound Australia

https://www.outwardbound.org.au/

We are proud to support Outward Bound due to the powerful impact its programs have on people’s self-belief and their leadership building capacity.

Wayne Dyson worked for nearly 6 years at OB (Australia & Minnesota) and credits much of his success at Bridgeworks to these experiences.

The OB process is life changing for people of all walks of life – wanting to build their leadership capacity or simply to build better belief in themselves and their potential.

Les Twentyman Foundation

Les Twentyman Foundation

https://www.ltfoundation.com.au/

The Les Twentyman Foundation advocates on behalf of disadvantaged at-risk young people with the aim to reconnect them with family, community and society through its educational, sporting and counselling programmes.

The foundation’s mission is to provide educational, sporting and counselling services & programs to the homeless and disadvantaged.

Bridgeworks works with the foundation on a program sending disadvantaged kids to an Outward Bound program.

Operation Toilets

Operation Toilets

https://www.operationtoilets.org.au/

Operation Toilets Australia (OTA) builds toilets and delivers hygiene education programs in schools in developing countries. They aim to improve the educational opportunities of adolescent girls who are often extremely disadvantaged in the school environment in developing countries.

The idea was brought to the Rotary Club of Box Hill Central by club member Mark Balla who had discovered during a trip to India that many schools in the developing world have no toilets.

Shocked by the consequences on the lives of many girls, he felt compelled to address the issue and the Rotary Club has been supporting the project.

To date OTA has reached over 30,000 children and aim to have reached well over 100,000 in the next 18 months.
