Yes he’s a priest, but don’t expect political correctness.
Here’s a man of the cloth that follows his heart – many admiring his tireless work for the poor and marginalised.
Father Bob is in the top 10 most sought after speakers in Australia.
He’s 75 but has big plans. A big vision. He will surprise you with his innovation and fresh ideas – he refuses to get old.
Father Bob will stir, inspire and enlighten anyone who struggles to make the transition from being a responsible manager to becoming an inspiring leader who simply aims to connect. Turning “us and them” into “we”.
Father Bob is the community priest at St Paul & St Peter’s parish in South Melbourne. His passion is not driven from the divine title given to him. More the role of connecting the disconnected.
The corporate world is suffering more and more from disconnection. The terminology we use for this is disengagement – around 80% of the workforce is disengaged to various levels with nearly 20% actively disengaged (only around 20% are engaged and thus proactive in making a positive contribution, versus ‘leaving the brains in the car park’)* Why is this so? What principles will stem this low tide?
So what can we learn from Bob in this session?
Father Bob is not coming to convert you. Instead expect to hear a man who talks passionately about bringing your values to life, how to engage disengaged people, how to be an instrument of connection.
Expect to have a good laugh. Atheists are most welcome and will find Father Bob’s presentation just as relevant.
